Af-Ccessory of the day: Sass & Bide

Part of the International Trade Centre’s Ethical Fashion Initiative we mentioned last week is the Australian fashion house Sass & Bide.

Following London Fashion week, the design duo Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton of  Sass & Bide will be flying out with other fashion companies who are part of the project.

Not Charity. Just Work...

is the slogan of the project with pieces from the collaborative collection handmade by the hands of Kenyan Masai women.

Bags in the collection are made with discarded army blankets and mosquito nets to name but a few! So next time you look at an old pair of jeans or last seasons bomber jacket, think of the possibilities!

We wonder what these bags contain...hmmmm.
